The "Safety Certificate Contractors" (SCC) comes from the English "Safety Certificate Contractors".
This set of rules was developed in the petrochemical industry for companies that act as contractors, i.e. subcontractors or suppliers. Technical services, e.g. for new constructions or conversions, maintenance or repair work, are often contracted out to external service providers. Proof that these contractors meet the safety requirements in your organization can be provided by neutral certification in accordance with the standard SCC-VAZ. The certification combines concerns from safety, health and environmental protection (SHE).

The company certification according to SCC-VAZ / SCP-VAZ also integrates occupational safety into the health and environmental protection system. The organisational and personnel requirements for the safe processing of orders and the safety requirements of the client are assessed. This requires proof of the SHE audit for the operational managers and employees. Furthermore, proof of the accident frequency in the last three years is indispensable.
